THE TOWER OF LONDON
Now almost a thousand years old, this famous landmark is steeped in history and has borne witness to many bloody episodes over the years. It contains the Bloody Tower, Traitors’ Gate and of course the famous Crown Jewels. And once you’ve enjoyed the Tower experience you can cross nearby Tower Bridge and take lunch at Pont de la Tour, the riverside restaurant offering fabulous views of the Tower.
Our typical highlights tour takes in the magnificent Crown Jewels, and visits Tower Green, where Henry VIII’s second wife Anne Boleyn and fourth wife Katherine Howard were both beheaded. As well as enjoying the wonderful atmosphere, we’ll also meet The Tower’s most celebrated residents – the four pairs of ravens who live there and contribute their own dark legend to the Tower.
If you have any questions or requests, or you would like to book a tour, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll get back in touch with you as soon as we can.
